FILTER TIPS
The service life of MOTOAIR air filters can be extended indefinitely when the following procedures are performed. For normal driving conditions, service MOTOAIR Air Filter at least every race or 25 kilometers or twice a year, whichever comes first.
Follow the next steps when replacing a filter:
- Remove the Moto Air filter from the air filter housing
- Wipe the filter housing free of dirt and debris
- Carefully remove the polyurethane foam from the cage of your Moto Air filter
- Wash the polyurethane foam in Moto Air Filter Cleaner and water. Rinse in clean water
- Allow the foam to dry thoroughly
- Apply Moto Air Foam Filter Oil liberally on the polyurethane foam. Squeeze the foam repeatedly until oil penetrates its entire thickness. Moto Air Foam Filter Oil is specifically formulated for Moto Air filters. It is designed to trap and hold dirt effectively, even in temperature extremes
- Blot excess oil from the polyurethane foam and reinstall the foam on the cage
- Reinstall the air filter into the air filter housing
Enjoy your riding!
